With only 227 residences over 48 levels, Paragon is a luxury boutique development designed by world-class architects Fender Katsalidis.

The architecture maximises views allowing the majority of one-, two- and three-bedroom residences prized corner vistas while limiting density to between four and six residences per floor. Two floors are dedicated to a myriad of resident amenities to rival the world’s most exclusive luxury hotels.

Referencing Melbourne’s abundant green spaces, a three storey high urban forest is a conservatory-like feature, set within the building. It offers a wealth of botanical beauty featuring restful and regenerative places to unwind or entertain unlike anything Melbourne has experienced before.

Paragon’s impressive lobby offers a distinct sense of arrival, a private and indulgent conduit between Melbourne’s busy streetscape and a private world of tranquillity within. Premium level security technology underpins entry to all areas including remote access underground facilities for car and bicycle parking and additional storage.

November 2020 Construction Update

As Paragon nears ever closer to completion this head-turning building is in great shape for completion this summer with significant progress made in October.

Apartment fit-outs and quality assurance checks are now complete up to Level 28 and the stunning external facade glazing has now been installed up to Level 36 – with only a few more floors to go!

Most excitingly, landscaping is currently being installed into Paragon’s indoor forest, with the trees finally planted on-site, giving emphasis to the true scale of this inspiring and innovative space.

Beyond the greenery, the Amenities Levels are shaping up to be a stand-out addition to Paragon, with beautiful terrazzo-type flooring being poured this month, and the timber decking surrounding the completed hand rendered custom concrete spas.

Enhancing the elegance of the Amenities Levels, stone wall cladding is being installed in the library, parts of the entryways and dining area, with further detailing to come next month as works continue.

At this stage, Multiplex believe that the new construction completion and estimated settlement timeline may be delayed until February 2021.

September 2020 Construction Update

September saw several advances on site, such as the removal of the core crane and installation of the smaller recovery crane – providing access so the installation of lifts can be completed. In addition, the increased access to higher floors means common services all the way up to the rooftop space are being installed. This is in anticipation of testing and pressurisation as apartments approach completion.

As spring settles in, the urban indoor forest is close to blooming with the continuation of waterproofing of garden beds and services installed. Meanwhile the shell and structure of Paragon’s lap pool is now complete with tiling to commence shortly.

Internally partition walls and finishes have commenced on Level 41, while on the exterior the removal of remaining safety screens is now complete.

Currently, the timeline is as below:

Valuation Inspections Mid October 2020
Pre-Settlement Inspections Mid October 2020
Construction Completion Mid December 2020
Settlement Notification Mid December 2020
Settlement Late December 2020
Move In Late December 2020
