1) I am an overseas purchaser. When will I be contacted by Smartkey?
Smartkey will contact you initially approximately 9 months prior to your settlement. Based on your settlement date, we will then routinely contact you 6 and 3-1 months prior, and finally when your settlement date is triggered. To see your Settlement Journey, please click here.

2) I am a local purchaser. When will I be contacted by Smartkey?
3) I already have my solicitor to look after my settlement. What extra service does Smartkey provide?
That’s great! It is important to have a legal representative appointed for your settlement. Smartkey will complement this by providing you with regular construction and settlement updates as soon as we receive it from the developer. Solicitors generally do not receive these updates from the developer and will only legally notify you when the settlement date is confirmed.
4) I am looking for loan options. When can I speak to your finance partners?

6) What is a Pre-Settlement Inspection (PSI)?
7) I am overseas and am unable to attend my pre-settlement inspection. Can Smartkey help me?

9) I am concerned I won’t be able to settle on time. Who can I speak to?
All settlement extensions must be formally requested by your solicitor, but we question you please also inform us so we can explain your situation to the developer.
10) Do I need to attend my own settlement?
No, you are not required to attend on settlement day. Your solicitor/conveyancer will conduct the settlement.
